Hanks Anuku: Biography Of Nollywood Best “Bad boy”

Hanks Anuku, born on the 27th of August, 1960, is an actor, producer, bussiness man. The Ibadan born actor, attended Loyola College, Ibadan. He graduated from Auchi Polytechnic in 1981. Hanks Anuku has the Igbo tribe origin. He mostly features in action thriller movies. At a time in Nollywood, he was one of the highest paid and most influential actors. He lived in the United States for a long time, there he acquired his “American accent” liked by his audience. He also played in several Hollywood films. His main role is a negative hero – the ‘bad guy.’ His roles of various gangsters and villains with black glasses and thick gold chains are the classic of Nigerian cinema. His filmography has more than one hundred and fifty movies. His debut Nollywood movie was “Skeleton” but the movie that shot him to fame was “Senator”.
