1) Alhaji Kareem Adepoju popularly known as “Baba Wande” is a Nigerian film actor, writer and producer who shot to limelight in 1993 after he starred as “Oloye Otun” in the movie titled Ti Oluwa Ni Ile.

2)  He began his professional acting career in 1963 with the Duro Ladipo Theatre Group. He has featured in over 1000 productions, film and theatre combined.

3) A devout Muslim , he reads his Quran to unwind

4) He has to two wives.

5) He is an actor and a filmmaker. He is the CEO of Babawande productions.

6) Add TV presenter to that list, he has also once anchored an Islamic programme on television tagged ‘Iwa Lesin’.

7) He dedicated his 2015 movie ‘Agbabiaka’ to former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola.

8) He has been in the movie industry for over 5 decades, this year makes his 57th year as a thespian. Legendary!

9)  He revealed that if he were better educated, he would “have been a television director or manager.

10) His greatest career wish yet is to establish a standard film village in Osun State that will be used by practitioners within and outside the state.
